THREE: Install bed bugs mattress and box spring covers.
Bed bug covers will lock in any bed bugs or bed bugs eggs into your mattress and box spring, and over time kill them.
Plus they won’t be able to continue biting you either.
FOUR: Install bed bug traps. These bed bugs traps can give you some needed peace of mind while you are sleeping.
It’s easy to install them and you will find that these traps catch a lot of bed bugs that otherwise could be left to bite later and it helps you determine where they are coming from.
FIVE: Bed bug steamer is an excellent do it yourself method because heat kills bed bugs dead.

For these reasons, I’d skip using bleach for bed bug treatment and just use it in areas of your home that need it for clean up.
Areas of your home that won’t be harmed by using bleach.
The following treatments are less effective at killing bed bugs:
Bean Leaves To Kill Bed Bugs: Yes, you can actually kill bed bugs this way, but it will not be effective enough to completely eradicate all bed bugs from your home.
For this reason, we don’t recommend it for treating bed bugs.
Raid To Kill Bed Bugs: This is one of the mistakes I made with my first attempt to treat my bed bug nightmare.
I went and purchased a grocery store brand like Raid.
Bottom line it just wasn’t effective at killing bed bugs and turned out to be a total waste of time and money.

Lysol To Kill Bed Bugs: Yes, again this can be another way to kill bed bugs. Although you have to spray the Lysol directly on the bed bugs for it to actually kill them.
And when the Lysol dries it’s no longer an effective treatment method.
For this reason, I would not even consider Lysol as a way to kill bed bugs.
Can Pine-Sol Kill Bed Bugs?: The reason Pine-sol if another way of killing bed bugs is that contains alcohol which is another way to kill bed bugs on contact.
The reason to avoid using Pine-sol as a way to treat bed bugs is that it can cause skin and mucous membrane irritation, along with breathing problems, and central nervous system depression.
Since using Pine-sol can cause so many problems for you and it’s not very effective at solving your bed bug problem I’d completely avoid it.
Conclusion
Does bleach kill bed bugs? Yes, but I wouldn’t recommend it because it only kills some of the bugs and will not completely solve the problem of eradicating all bed bugs from your home.
You will be better off hiring a professional bed bugs technician or following the advice on this page using the spray I used to eradicate bed bugs than any other methods you may be considering.
When your bed bug problem is resolved make sure to use preventive measures to keep the bugs out for good.
After 3 to 4 weeks if you are not seeing any more bed bugs and are not getting any more bites you will have won the battle and will have most likely eradicated your bed bug problem.
