Where To Spray For Bed Bugs

If you decided not to go to bed bug spray cvs and opted to get the spray I used then the next step is to strategically spray for bed bugs.

When I was battling bed bugs they were contained in a small area of my home because I caught the problem fast.

So if you are catching this problem early you might only need to focus on a certain area of the home.

A word of warning is that if you do find bed bugs in one room make sure you don’t sleep in other areas of your home because this will cause you to have an even worse problem.

Bed bugs feed on human blood which means you are the food source and anywhere you spend large portions of time is where they will be too.

Here are tips on where to spray for bed bugs:

  • Behind the headboard
  • under the mattress
  • box springs
  • cracks
  • crevices
  • anywhere you have seen bed bugs
  • picture frames

Bed bugs can even hide in your electronics. To learn more about how to treat this problem read how to get rid of bed bugs in electronics here.

How to prepare for treatment of bed bugs

You might think all you need to do is just start spraying for bed bugs and that’s it. Unfortunately, it takes more effort than that when treating these pests on your own.

To properly prepare for the treatment of bed bugs you should do the following:

  • Vacuum your entire home 3 or 4 times
  • Place your clothes into a plastic bag and seal it
  • Emply remains from vacuum into outside garbage immediately
  • Make sure you have enough spray to treat all areas

Bed bug spray cvs or any other spray all have one thing in common. They require you to do the work. And if you are up to the challenge you can win the battle of the bugs.

Just be patient and persistent and the reward will be that your bed bug problems will be over and you will have saved yourself a lot of money.
