You can start by vacuuming your home and using diatomaceous earth can help.

Sprinkle diatomaceous earth on your carpet but make sure to wear protective mask and gloves.

After you finish vacuuming be sure to immediately empty into your outside trash.

It’s also recommend to use a vacuum designed for bed bugs.

Step 2: Laundry

Gather all of your bedding, sheets, clothes, and anything that you can wash that has come into contact with bed bugs.

Get two trash bags and label one Clean and the other Dirty.

Place all dirty items into the dirty trash bag and seal at the top.

Then put dirty items into the wash and use high heat for 30 to 45 minutes.

And then in the dryer for another 45 minutes on high heat.

After your clothes are clean make sure not to use the dirty trash bag.
