#1. Prepare Your Room For Treatment
First you should remove any items in your room that you cannot treat or that have already been treated for bedbugs.
And cover those items with plastic bags before moving them to the next room to prevent any unseen bedbugs from infesting other parts of your home.
You should also remove pictures or paintings from your walls.
And thoroughly check picture frames this is an area bed bugs can hide.
Remove bedsheets and put them into a plastic bag and seal them.
It’s also recommended to have a bedbug-proof mattress cover that you can get here.
And you should also cover your boxspring with a bed bug box spring encasement.
In some cases you may need to get rid of your bed.
In that case, you will need to cover the mattress with plastic in order to protect sanitation workers.
You might also want to write on the plastic that it has bed bugs.
Wash all of your sheets, linens, and clothing on high heat.
Make sure the temperature is at least 120°F because the heat will kill the bed bugs.
When you have finished washing your clothes in High Heat.
Immediately place in dryer for at least 45 minutes in High Heat.

Bed bugs love to hide under cushions or in the cracks and crevices where it’s hard to find them.
